Q: Where can I buy Bupropion 75mg without a prescription low cost?
Any online sources would be helpful! I do not have a script so I would buy it wothout. I have taken it before but cannot afford a office call at the Dr. again.
A: You can’t. Even online you have to have a prescription for Bupropion……… You could try your local county mental health system, they can get you in to see a doctor and meds and they base the cost on your income.
Q: Where is the best and cheapest place online to buy the generic of Wellbutrin xl 300mg?
No insurance. Generic name is Bupropion 300 mg XL
A: like the other answer says, other countries are a good choice and mexico is one of them that do not need prescriptions. a second alternative is online from mexico our europe. take a look at World-Rx.Net which is a site that I have used for generics
Q: Different side effects of Bupropion (generic) vs. Wellbutrin XL? (Thinking of switching to generic but scared)?
I have been taking Wellbutrin XL for about a year and 7 months. I was on 150 mg for the first 12 months, then 300 mg for the last 7. (I love it; I feel like I couldn’t have imagined a medicine that would make me feel so normal. Just… normal, and consistent, not “high” and no longer experiencing manic lows.) I have always used name brand because I could afford it and because my Dr. recommended it, and am hesitant about generics. The reason I’m hesitant is because I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (birth control) for a year or so, but the $60 copay was getting costly, so I switched to the generic… I had the worst depression I’ve had in 2 years, I ate literally 4 times what I eat on a normal basis, and was a psychotic mess. I would get depressed and hopeless for no real reason, every single day, and cried at least twice a day during that time. Without even really knowing why.. I was still on the Wellbutrin during that time but I may as well have been off of it. I thought I was just crazy, but then I went online and read other people’s experiences with that specific birth control and learned that many other people had this bad reaction to the generic, and ended up switching back to name brand. Needless to say, I did.
Anyway, so my co-pay for the Wellbutrin is $60 a month, and recently my Dr. has put me on other medications too so I want to cut costs and am thinking of switching to the generic (Bupropion)… But after a year & 1/2 of satisfaction with the name brand, added with my terrible experience with the generic of the birth control medicine vs name brand, I’m really scared to switch and wondering what other people’s experiences have been?
I don’t want to read drug facts, because I’ve done significant research already, I really just want to hear what other people have experienced from the generic, or from the generic compared to name brand. I realize that I need to weigh the options between spending the extra $ and the value of my health, etc etc, I’m not looking for advice, I’m just looking for other people’s side effects because that can give me an idea of how bad it may or may not be.
Please help… I don’t want to go through another experience like I did with my previous generic, so I could use some feedback.
Thanks!
A: This is a question you should discuss with your doctor. I take paxil and when I switched to the generic I started having problems. My doctor told me that some generics do not absorb as well as the brand name. With me we just increased the dosage of the generic and now I am doing very well.
Talk to your doctor!
Q: Did any manufacturer of zyban/wellbutrin/bupropion SR change the shape of the pill?
I took bupropion SR a few years ago, and recall taking a pill that looked like a lopsided diamond, and was light blue. It was definitely not viagra, for those wise-crackers out there. I was surprised to pick up a renewed prescription and it was a totally different color and shape. I’m wondering if any manufacturers may have changed the pill type in the last 4 years or so? Funny enough, when I do an internet image search, I find a picture of what I seem to remember taking, but only on the mail-order-online-pharmacy type websites. FDA, Glaxosmithkline, and webmd all show the new pill type, with no reference to any other shape. Perhaps someone who was been taking it for a number of years noticed a change and can help me answer the question?
1) I know that the pharmacy issued me the “right” pill for what they look like now, so researching on the pill identifier sites wasn’t a big help.
2) One of you answered “Yes” and I wanted to clarify, this is something you know from experience? Thanks!
This medication has been generic for a number of years. I was taking a generic form a few years ago, too. The pill identifier sites do not contain ANY pictures of what I used to take, and include several pictures of the current generic variations, none of which match what I used to take. I’m really just wondering if anyone who has been taking this for a number of years ever noticed a change in pill type from a smaller rectangle blue pill to the current round purple form–a change that may have occurred during the time I wasn’t taking it. In fact, the reason I asked is moot now, but it would still be nice to have an answer from someone who actually knows.
A: You may have a “generic” brand of the pill.
Q: I Took the wrong pills any pharmacists out there?
Had some old pills I thought were Lexapro 10mg, turns out they are Bupropion 10mg which I have had in the past. it’s as close as the online Pill Identification wizard could get. Anyway after taking the the suspect pill I then took my regular dose of the right one, Lexapro.
I know better than to keep old meds around but I did it anyway.
Also, I take Lisinopril. Can Lisinapril cause the Lexapro to metabilize faster in my system giving me the typical side effect of stopping Lexapro which is “brain shivers” or “brain zaps”
A: Upon researching the pill you took(zyban/bupropion) there shouldn’t be any side effects between it and the other two drugs. The isoenzyme that metabolises bupropion is different from that of lexapro (although both are oxidised by the P450 cytochrome). Lisinopril is a ACE inhibitor so there shouldn’t be any adverse reactions although if you do notice anything go to the hospital.
As for the second question if your doctor prescribed you both of those medicines im sure he considered the possible drug interactions. There should be no interaction between lisinopril and lexapro at all. Both have totally different methods of action, one is a ACE inhibitor and the other a SSRI so I dont see any possible drug-drug interaction.
I hope this helps.
Q: Is Zyban itching Dangerous?
I have been taking bupropion SR for quitting smoking for three weeks. two days ago I changed my dosage from 150 to 300mg with my doctor’s advice. Last night I experienced pretty bad itching, first in my hands and then all over. I woke up today with milder but present itching. My doctor says I should stay on the drug for another 24-36 hours, but I am afraid that it will get worse. So many people online have reported that it gets worse. Should I drop down to 150, stop altogether or should I follow my doctor’s advice and wait and see. Also, is there anything I can take for the itching?
A: Get Benedryl for the itch, and stop the med. Itching like that is an indication of medication allergy. Use some other form of cessation aid.

A: I think that you should follow your doctor’s advice UNLESS you break out into hives or the itching gets worse. I’m not familiar with this particular drug and I don’t know the possible side effects, but I have lots of drug allergies. And most of mine developed when I was on a higher dosage of the medicine than I had been before … for example, I was prescribed 800 mg of Ibuprofen and had a severe allergic reaction after a few doses, but I had taken Motrin previously with no problems. If you really can’t stand the itching, you need to tell your doctor that its not bearable for you and go back to the lower dose. Also, you can ask if its okay for you to take Benadryl … its an anti-histamine but often works well against the itchy side effects of other drugs such as hydrocodone.

A: Trust your doctor rather than the community here. Benedryl and Tylenol usually help itching.
Q: is this drug for smoking or more for a anti depressent?!?
i seen my man wuz taking sum pills i never heard bout he never told me he wuz on um..its called bupropion or also know as wellbutrin is this for stop smoking or is it for more of depression..ive looked online and it says both but i dunno wut he is taking it for…smoking or depresent..he use to smoke pot n he said he quit..that may be y or he is angry alot and calls me names…is it depression?!help!plz?thanxx………..
so more than likely it is used for depression the doseage is 150 sumtin like that?!hang on ill look…yulp 150mg ….
A: it is used for both, it depends on the doseage, for smoking cessation the dose is only 75mg, for depression it can be as high as 350mg. If he calls you names, it won’t be long before he starts pushing you around, abuse tends to escalate, you might insist he get anger management counselling, or find someone else, you don’t need that kind of abuse in your life.
Q: vyvanse – strong, faster heart beats and stomach pulses?
i recently started taking vyvanse (3 days ago). The first day I don’t think I noticed anything real bad. Yesterday, I noticed that my stomach was a little weird, like it didn’t hurt but it just didn’t feel right and I didn’t feel like eating much. Today however, my stomach was like that but worse and the whole day I’ve just been feeling crappy. But a few hours ago I was looking in the mirror without a shirt and I noticed I could see my stomach pulse. After looking in the mirror for a long time I also noticed that I could see my heart beating. However, I have Pectus excavatum, or a in indent in my chest, so that might be why I could see it, but that made me notice that it was beating pretty strongly. I also noticed that my stomach was pulsing at the same timing. I decided to check my heart rate and I found I had an average of 90-100 bpm. I looked up the symptoms online and on yahoo answers i notice that some guy had the same stomach and heart pulse issues and 2 people said not to worry about it. On a different website (http://www.drugs.com/cdi/vyvanse.html) it said “Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:” and one of them was fast or irregular heartbeat. So I was wondering if anyone knew what I should do.
heres some other info that might be important
ive only been taking 1 pill of 50mg, this being the 3rd day.
I also have been taking Bupropion i think it’s called for 2 weeks, just one pill at 150mg, but 3 days ago it got changed to i pill of 300mg.
The symptoms I noticed were that my stomach felt weird, my stomach pulsed, i had an increased heart rate, my heart beats were also stronger.
i weigh about 130 if that matters, im a guy, and im 15
if theres anything else that might be important tell me.
and if you have any advice tell me right away please. thanks
A: I took vyvanse for one month. i was also on buproprion 150 mg twice a day and prozac. i noticed the first couple of days i was a little hyper. it did dull my appetite. I weight quite a bit more than you i never noticed an increased heart rate or stomach pulses even though my psychiatrist made me go out and buy a blood pressure kit and take my blood pressure daily. my pressure went down. you might want to report this to your doctor. the dose might be too much for you. i have been changed to adderal now. the effects on me are pretty much the same but the meds are cheaper. but you should really talk to your doctor
