Q: wellbutrin vs Bupropion?
I’ve been taking wellbutrin for a long time and recently switched to bupropion because it was cheaper and was supposed to be the same thing…I’m definitely feeling different and want to know if anyone else feels like this isn’t the same medicine. Thanks!
A: I’ve taken both and have never felt a difference. It’s just the generic brand, you may just be sub consciously feeling different because you know that it’s a different name, but they do the exact same thing. If you feel your symptoms coming back or are uncomfortable with it, call your doctor and let them know. It won’t do any good if the medication you take isn’t really helping you.
Q: Does Wellbutrin working for you???
I’ve been taking Bupropion (the cheap version of Wellbutrin) for almost two weeks now, I’m not really feeling much of a difference in my moods. How long does it take to start feeling better? Has Wellbutrin worked for you? Did you gain weight while using it or have any side effects?
A: It takes a month or two to help, but then so do any of the others. My doctor told me that it helps with weight loss…not gain.
